This March, I attended Elastic{ON} to learn more about how we currently use Elastic for sorting and searching EVA data for https://eva.nasa.gov/. I actually learned a lot while having a great time. Here are some photos that hopefully capture my experience!
I'm so ready! I grew up in San Francisco - and I love seeing it slowly evolve in to a futuristic tech hub. This side of the pier was totally desolate just a decade ago.
USRA is a non profit space research association that succeeds because of open source software like Elastic. It was awesome seeing how both sides are profiting from this business model.
Choices can be modeled by data .. and yarn? sure, why not. It was a surprisingly accurate depiction.
Because, live Data doesn't need a caption.

This talk was about the new version of Elastic Search coming out later this year and the changes we can expect to see.
This talk went over the algorithms used for machine learning with Elastic. Definitely struck my interest.
This was a neat feature. Experts to test my hardest Elastic questions!
Because who doesn't want more data?
And of course, there were great views from the pier to catch up on some work in between the talks.
